NEW DELHI: Mild tremors were felt in parts of New Delhi after an earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale struck Tajikistan in central Asia on Monday.
TV reports said tremors were felt in Delhi, suburban Ghaziabad and Noida. No major damage of life or property has been reported yet.
Parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh were also jolted by the moderate quake.
